Question 1

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Your records live on your device in a local SQLite database - offline-first, so the app works fully without an internet connection. Only your account entitlement (trial/subscription status) is verified against our server.

Question 2

What happens if I lose my phone?

Accepted Answer

You can restore from a password-protected local backup. The backup file is encrypted before it leaves the device - only your backup password unlocks it during restore.

Question 3

Can I use my account on more than one device?

Accepted Answer

Each account is bound to one active device at a time. If you set up a new phone, you can move your account to it from the sign-in screen, which securely deactivates the previous device.

Question 4

Does Refinery Master work without an internet connection?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ledger entries, refining lots, opening stock, and reports all work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to verify your phone number and check your subscription status.

Question 5

How does pricing work after the trial?

Accepted Answer

Your 30-day trial starts as soon as you verify your phone number in the app. After that, the first year is ₹9,999 and renews at ₹4,999/year, billed automatically through Razorpay once you subscribe on our website.
